Dr. Chris Bart, FCPA, FCIoD, C.Dir is the Founder of the Corporate Governance Institute. He is also Chairman and Executive Partner of the Caribbean Governance Training Institute in St. Lucia. He currently serves as Chairman of Corporate Missions Inc - an international consulting firm dedicated to helping organizations excel in the execution of their strategies. He is also the founder of The Directors College of Canada where from its inception in 2003 to 2013, he served as its inaugural Principal and Lead Professor. He now assists the College as its Lead Faculty. He is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of the Caribbean Institute of Directors. Dr. Bart has been a member of many boards.

Peter is President of icorp.ca, a corporate director, and executive finance advisor for pre-IPO preparedness of innovation and scaling companies with emerging valuations of $1.0M to $10.0B in size. He is an expert in business strategy, public company regulatory disclosures, negotiating exits, and IP risk management. Peter specializes in financing and reporting, audit committee governance, and supporting shareholder value creation. Recent corporate directorships included: OSFI regulated public financial institution boards, with FUM exceeding $5.0B, as Chair of the Finance | Audit | Risk Committees; OSC securities commission regulated financial institution boards, as Chair of the Audit Committee, with FUM approaching $1.0B; Investment Committee of the Board of the Royal Ottawa Hospital Foundation; and Member on the Canadian standard development committee for ISO International Standard for Management Consultancy. Peter also sits on a number of private company boards, and has been a faculty member with CGTI since 2018 in the C.Dir. and ACC programs.

Ted Sehl, CA is a financial executive with 25 years of experience in senior financial roles. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Hammond’s Manufacturing, a TSX listed company, and chairs their audit committee. Ted attained his C.A. designation in 1982, articling with Touche Ross in Toronto and then graduating from York University’s MBA program in 1985. He started his career at McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada, where he sat on the board as an Honorary Director and played a role in the startup of the Moscow McDonald’s operations. Subsequently, he became the Senior Vice President of Finance and Secretary Treasurer at W.C. Wood Company, an international appliance manufacturing company headquartered in Guelph, Ontario. In 2007, he helped the family shareholders sell the company to private equity investors. Currently Ted is the founder and managing partner of a Fractional CFO service. He serves on the boards of Guelph Municipal Holdings and Guelph Hydro and is Chair of Board of the John Howard Society of Waterloo Wellington.
